TOY Berlin Masters Award

The TOY BERLIN MASTERS AWARD is an art prize worth 10,000 euros, which is awarded annually on the occasion of the BERLIN MASTERS exhibition.  The award recipient can freely use the cash prize for production, exhibitions, publications or a project.  

The TOY BERLIN MASTERS AWARD is donated by art collectors, Monique and Max Burger and is dedicated to the memory of their son, Yves Biggoer-Burger (1988-2011). The award is part of the "TOY CAP Projects - do something that matters in memory of a loved one."

Berlin Masters Schliemann Residency

The BERLIN MASTERS SCHLIEMANN RESIDENCY in St Remy de Provence, situated in one of France’s most culturally active regions, was set up to function as a cocoon for creativity and exploration for the artist and will always coincide the "Les Rencontres de la Photographie d'Arles". The BERLIN MASTERS SCHLIEMANN RESIDENCY was presented for the first time in 2019. Joana and Henrik Schliemann award this residency to artists who engage in photography, video and/or new media.

Always commencing at the beginning of July, the 6-week BERLIN MASTERS SCHLIEMANN RESIDENCY includes a vernissage lunch at the Residency during the ‘Recontres’ opening week, accommodation at an independent studio house on a rural property 20m from Arles, travel, rental car on site, per diem for 42 days, season tickets for "Les Rencontres de la Photographie d'Arles" and LUMA Arles, as well as activity vouchers for their respective lectures and seminars.
